Citynet is a company originally specialized in the deployment and maintenance of fibre-optic networks through sewer systems. As such, Citynet holds since 2001 a C1 license granted by the Market Telecommunication Commission (CMT). The activity of Citynet covers a wide range of activities related to the installation and operation of its fibre-optic network:

• Carry out engineering studies for its own and third-party projects.
• Detailed design of projects (corporate networks, links, point to point solutions…).
• Construction of own infrastructure using existing sewer systems.
• Integrated management of turn-key projects
• Network maintenance
• Operation of own network as a wholesale neutral operator

Citynet is in the process of launching its Neutral Operator activity, using the fibre-optic networks deployed in some of the most important cities in Spain, in full compliance with existing regulation and criteria establish by the Spanish CMT.
